FROM THE BAR?

Yes! On Fridays and Saturdays the bottle shop closes at 11PM. The bar is open until 12AM and you are welcome to enjoy a bottle, or glass, at the bar until closing!

Except for a couple of Canadian producers, our wines are not available for purchase at the LCBO.

Every purchase of alcohol to go or made online through our website for pick up or delivery must be accompanied by a food item. Please click here to see our food offerings.

How do I
remove an item?

To remove an item(s) from your cart, click on the rubbish bin icon to the right of the quantity box or use the arrows inside the quantity box to increase/decrease the amount of bottles.

HOW DO I
BUY A GIFT CARD?

We have Digital Gift Cards that can be emailed directly to you or your recipient.

Digital Gift Cards are available for purchase in person at our store or via our website HERE.

PICKING UP
YOUR ORDER

Orders for pick up will be ready as soon as possible, and usually same day depending on what time the order is placed. You will receive an email from us when your order is ready for pickup.

SHIPPING

We ship our orders by courier and via Canada Post.

If you place your order before 12PM on a Wednesday or Thursday for delivery within Toronto, you will most likely receive your order the next day. If you place an order on Friday, Saturday or Sunday we will endeavour to get your order to you as soon as possible. We will always try to get your order to you as soon as possible, however we cannot guarantee same day delivery within Toronto or next day delivery outside of Toronto.

Please note that the person accepting delivery must be 19 years of age or older.  

HOW DO I
update/change my
email address

To change your email address log into your account and click on ‘My Account’ at the top right hand corner of the page. Go on to ‘Update Your Details’ and scroll down to the email section. Enter your new email address and click on the update button at the bottom of the page.You will then receive an email from us to reactivate your account with one simple click.

How do I
change my address?

To change your address log in to your account and click on ‘My Account’ at the top right hand of the screen. Go on to ‘Update Your Details’ and scroll down to the ‘Your Address’ section. Insert your new address details and click update.You will get an email from us asking to reactivate your account by clicking on the link.

HOW DO I
REMOVE MYSELF
FROM YOUR MAILING LIST?

To remove yourself from our email database, scroll down to the bottom of any email you receive and click on the unsubscribe link. It will take you to a separate page noting you have successfully been unsubscribed. Please feel free to comment in the feedback box about why you have unsubscribed.

OF PAYMENT

We accept payments made by credit card, debit, paypal, applepay, and by cash.

WHAT IF I RECEIVE A
BROKEN BOTTLE OF WINE OR
HAVE AN ISSUE WITH MY ORDER?

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

We evaluate refunds and exchanges on a case-by-case basis, so please email us at info@thedaughter.ca as soon as possible. We will try our best to get a replacement bottle of the same wine to you as soon as possible however, if the wine is no longer available, we may offer you a replacement bottle of equal value/flavour profile, or refund your purchase. Please be sure to fully document the damages with clear photos and include this in your email. If this step is not taken, we cannot guarantee that a refund will be issued.

RETURNS

We accept returns for store credit. We reserve the right to refuse a return if the an item has been tampered with or damaged by the customer.
